MOSCOW: A meeting of the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Colonel-General Alexander Fomin with the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations for Humanitarian Affairs Martin Griffiths, during which the situation was discussed in Ukraine.

◽️ The Deputy Minister noted a successful collaboration with representatives of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, accredited by the Russian Defense Department in Moscow.

◽️ The Inter-Departmental Coordination Headquarters for Humanitarian Response in Ukraine, created in the Ministry of Defense of Russia on a regular basis transmits documents with objective information on the humanitarian situation in Ukraine to UN employees.

◽️ The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation informed Martin Griffits about the expansion of humanitarian aid to the population of Ukraine in regions controlled by the Russian Armed Forces, as well as in Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics.

◽️ The Russian side emphasized that the key factor for the Russian Defense Department in collaboration with the UN to deliver humanitarian aid to the population of Ukraine is ensuring the safety of the employees of the Organization.

◽️ Kiev distributed weapons uncontrollably to the people, which led to the growth of banditism and looting. The number of incidents involving weapons is steadily increasing, which could lead to the deaths of UN employees.

◽️ It was also noted that the Ukrainian authorities launched an information campaign to discredit Russian soldiers.

◽️ For this purpose provocations are used and staged incidents are created. A bright example - the accusation of the Russian Armed Forces in an airstrike on a maternity hospital in Mariupol. The day before it became known that the main heroine of reports in the media denied the version of the plane on the maternity hospital on the Russian side. According to her, nationalists from Azov units used several chains to shoot a report in a hospital destroyed by Russia, allegedly prepared in a pre-planned scenario. False information has been circulated by western media.

◽️ The Ministry of Defense of Russia has shown concrete testimonies of the genocide and the cruelty of the Ukrainian leadership and military units towards its own population.

◽️ The Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the humanitarian situation in Ukraine is degrading. First of all, this happens because of the actions of Ukrainian authorities and nationalist battalions, who continue to block citizens in cities.

◽️ The Deputy Secretary-General of the UN has been proven information about the situation in connection with the sabotage of the Kiev regime of open humanitarian corridors. It has been stated that every day from March 4, the Russian side has created all conditions for ensuring the safety of humanitarian corridors for the evacuation of civilians and foreign citizens in the east and west directions. However, refugee colonies are being subjected to intense fire by Ukrainian Armed Forces units and nationalbats, including mortars and large-scale firearms.

◽️ In spite of this contradiction, only through the humanitarian corridor from Mariupol in the eastern direction without the participation of the Ukrainian side was it possible to save more than 123 thousand. a man.

◽️ April 4 from 06:00 Russia reopened a humanitarian corridor to rescue foreign citizens and civilians from Mariupol. At the same time, the Russian side is ready to ensure the entrance of ships to the port of Berdyansk for the evacuation of foreign citizens.

◽️ 67 foreign ships continue to remain blocked in Ukrainian ports. Russian Armed Forces open a maritime humanitarian corridor daily from 08:00 to 19:00 (moscow) which represents a safe lane of traffic in the south-west direction. However, the threats of shelling and high mine danger created by Ukrainian Armed Forces do not allow ships to safely enter the open sea.
