Havana: Statement 39 male migrants were repatriated from New Providence to Havana, Cuba. This group was escorted by a joint law enforcement team consisting of immigration officers and the Bahamian Defense Force Marines.
The bureau’s deportation team led the escort on a Bahamasair charter flight. All COVID-19 protocols are strictly adhered to as the health, welfare, and safety of officers, law enforcement counterparts, and immigrants are the highest priorities in this COVID-19 environment.
