DONETSK: A group of Ukrainian militants was destroyed in the area of ​​Vuhledar after an attempt to occupy the positions of the Russia-DPR forces. This was announced today by the Deputy Head of the People's Militia Department Eduard Basurin.

"In the Vuhledar direction, a group of Ukrainian Nazis who planned to enter the positions of the military personnel of the DPR army was destroyed by the joint actions of the military personnel of the army of the Donetsk People's Republic and the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation," Basurin said.

According to him, the enemy lost about a dozen militants and two armored vehicles.

The operation to liberate Donbass has been carried out since February 24. According to the latest data, in the Donetsk People's Republic, the Ukrainian invaders were driven out of 241 settlements. Fighting continues in the Slavyansk, Artemovsk and Donetsk directions.
