In the Zaporozhye region, the emergence of a land corridor Moscow-Crimea was predicted

MOSCOW: Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the military-civilian administration of the Zaporozhye region, expressed confidence that a full-fledged land corridor between Moscow and Crimea would soon appear.

Rogov said that the region “needs full-fledged roads to Russia, corridors, because now residents of the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions enter Russia and come from Russia only through a very narrow checkpoint in the territory between the Kherson region and the Republic of Crimea.” “I am sure that everything is going to that and will end with the fact that we will have a full-fledged land corridor from Moscow to Crimea,” Tass quoted him as saying.

He noted that “according to the classics, by tradition, it has always been like that during the times of the Russian Empire, the Soviet Union - this is the Moscow-Simferopol road, which is a federal highway, a road of all-Union significance in the Soviet years, and the railway, which again goes from Moscow to Simferopol.

According to Rogov, the issue will be resolved when the entire Zaporozhye region is liberated by Russian troops. “And as soon as this branch is restored, as soon as this road, without exaggeration, of life is launched, we will see how the energy will gush,” he said.

Rogov spoke about the mood in Zaporozhye: “Today, of course, terror reigns there, physical lawlessness on the part of the so-called teriks, and this is what the people call territorial defense. Provocations and persecution from the SBU, plus the massive importation of residents of Galicia, that is, militants, Nazis from Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Ternopil.

According to him, the militants “treat the Cossacks with disdain and boorishness, they often exert physical pressure on people, and people are robbed at checkpoints.” The locals don't like it. Rogov spoke about the case when the Cossacks, who were forced to take part in hostilities, went over to the side of Russia with weapons. He said that "there is a mass exodus from Zaporozhye to the liberated territories", people "want peace, they want the Russian world in the literal sense."

Rogov estimates that Kyiv controls just under a third of the region, but that part includes the city of Zaporozhye, where almost half of the region's population lives. He said that the Ukrainian military and representatives of the Ukrainian authorities, who retain control over part of the Zaporozhye region, are in a panic and are constantly discussing issues of evacuation and removal of valuables. “And constant statements contradicting each other. This is very reminiscent of the behavior of the hero of the song, Vladimir Vysotsky: “He either cries, or laughs, or bristles like a hedgehog,” said Rogov.

The Zaporozhye region has traditionally exported billions of dollars worth of products to Russia, but Ukraine criminally blocked such an opportunity for the region, he said. Rogov pointed out that the Zaporozhye region could offer Russia a military airfield in Melitopol and a naval military base in Berdyansk on the shores of the Sea of Azov. He said that the authorities of the Zaporozhye region plan to resume the work of the port of Berdyansk in the near future.
