Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov, the Kiev-Vasylkiv highway was opened to evacuate residents

MOSCOW: According to Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov, the Kiev-Vasylkiv highway was opened to evacuate residents of the Ukrainian capital on Monday.

Russian Defence Ministry has said that the Armed Forces are not launching missile and artillery strikes on Ukrainian cities. High-precision weapons are used to disable military infrastructure: military airfields, aviation, and air defence facilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba tweeted that cities were under bombardment. "This is a war of aggression. Ukraine will defend itself and will win. The world can and must stop Putin. The time to act is now."
