MOSCOW: Let's talk about comedians in world cinema and about a comedian at the head of state, which has been in the daily headlines of all the world's media for a week now. From everywhere only Ukraine and Ukraine. There the president is a comedian. The comedian who stopped being funny. Just look how pathetic and confused President Zelensky looks at a meeting with the US Secretary of State. Zelensky is clearly in a different role. And Blinken to him at this time - openly, they say, do not touch Poroshenko. Do not dare! No landings.
Previously, over his numbers laughed until you drop. Here, for example, how original the comedian Zelensky performed, while still in the profession, the anthem of Ukraine. When there are two musicians at the piano keyboard, then such a game is called "four hands". And here you don’t even know how to properly define this duet. For starters, the pianists take off their pants. They raise their hands high, and now the melody is flowing, as if played with one finger. However, no, two. And now I want to ask, when was Zelensky real, singing the anthem of his country, when was he without pants, or when was he still wearing pants?
One way or another, the president of the comedian never stopped grimacing and clowning around, playing all kinds of roles with dressing up and reincarnations. And this is at a time when his blood is shed in the Donbass, high-rise buildings in Kiev began to be heated with firewood, and the country has been brought to an extreme degree of poverty and humiliation. Unique experience. Nothing like this can be imagined in other countries. And even Poroshenko, who himself caused great harm to Ukraine, is already calling, figuratively speaking, to "slam the lid of this piano."
But there were comedians in the world. And, to put it mildly, no weaker than Zelensky. But can we imagine at least someone at the head of the state? Classic of world cinema Charlie Chaplin. American Jim Carrey in a pink tutu. Englishman Rowan Atkinson as Mr. Bean. Or the unique Frenchman Pierre Richard. Or the Soviet actor Sergei Filippov as the Swedish ambassador in front of Ivan Vasilyevich. Yes, even in the role of Kisa Vorobyaninov in "The Twelve Chairs".
Zelensky ventured, but did not make anyone happy. Yes, and he himself, it seems, feeling out of his element and needs doping. But if Poroshenko just got drunk as president of Ukraine, now his complaint against Zelensky is drugs. Poroshenko alludes to cocaine, fashionable at the suggestion of Hollywood in the artistic environment. But Zelensky acts like it's cocaine and alcohol, a concoction known since the Civil War in Soviet Russia. For example, Aleksey Nikolaevich Tolstoy wrote about this remedy in the story "The Viper". There, one of the heroes recalls that in 1919 he drank alcohol with cocaine in order not to sleep. And in our time, too, something similar. The recipe works.
The jokes are already on the Internet. It is clear that it is voiced, but still ... There is no smoke without fire. In a word, Ukraine is not in the mood for jokes. And Zelensky is still playing. And it looks like it's playing.
