Budapest: Those campaigning on the premise that the Central European University (CEU) has been closed are clearly not telling the truth, Prime Minister Viktor Orban said in English on his website on Saturday. Said in the “Samizdat” letter.
In letterOrban, entitled the University of Persecution and Expulsion in Budapest, said: The conference was held at the CEU Building on Nardre Street, a major street in the center of Budapest.
“I’ve heard from media liberal politicians and their supporters for years that the Hungarian government has closed Central European University and kicked it out of Budapest,” he said.
Olburn said in a news report that an international conference in the press was held on Thursday and Friday at the CEU’s Budapest campus, attended by prominent representatives of liberal academia and political life.
